Start your crypto journey with confidence
Atlas Wallet makes owning cryptocurrency simple and secure. We combine cold-storage protection, a clear recovery system, and an approachable onboarding that helps newcomers and experienced users manage their assets without guesswork.
From hardware-backed storage to easy trade integrations, Atlas was designed for people who want real ownership — not just accounts or passwords. Keep control of your private keys, move funds on your terms, and learn best practices as you grow.
Cold-Storage Friendly
Atlas supports industry-standard hardware devices and a secure offline workflow so your private keys never touch the internet. Use a hardware key for the highest level of defense against theft.
Simple Recovery
Back up your wallet with a human-readable recovery guide and optional social/redundant recovery features. Recover access even if you lose your device — without giving away your keys.
Transparent Fees & Swaps
Bridge, swap, or send — always see the fee and the route before you sign. Integration with multiple on-chain liquidity providers helps minimize slippage and surprises.
Step 1 — Create & Protect
Set up a wallet name and choose your protection level. Atlas guides you to choose the right mix: quick mobile access, or a hardware-backed vault for long-term holdings.
Step 2 — Move & Verify
Send a small transaction to confirm everything works. Each transaction shows a clear breakdown: amount, network fee, and estimated confirmation time.
Step 3 — Grow & Manage
Track assets, set alerts, stake tokens, and access on-ramp/off-ramp partners. Atlas keeps your dashboard clean while giving power users advanced tools.
Security is the product
We design every feature with the assumption that attackers will target high-value accounts. That means defaults that favor safety, clear warnings when risks exist, and an architecture that separates signing devices from online profiles.
Proven building blocks
Atlas uses widely-audited cryptographic libraries, hardware-backed signing (when available), and a policy-first approach to permissions. We never store your private keys — only encrypted metadata that helps you manage your devices and sessions.
Human-friendly recovery
Loss happens. Our recovery process is intentionally gradual and human-centered, combining mnemonic backups, optional trusted contacts, and recovery cards. This approach avoids single points of failure while remaining accessible for non-technical users.
Education & alerts
Every risky action (like changing a recovery method or connecting a new device) is highlighted with clear steps and an explainer. You’ll also get transaction alerts and device-session logs so you can spot unexpected behavior early.

Getting started — recommended flow
Whether you're buying your first token or consolidating holdings, following a careful process reduces risk. Here's a recommended flow we've refined with users and security researchers.
- Read the basics: Spend 15 minutes with our "First Wallet" guide to understand recovery, fees, and signing.
- Create a test wallet: Use a small amount first — learning by doing beats reading alone.
- Choose storage: Keep frequent-use funds in a software vault and long-term holdings in a hardware-backed profile.
- Verify recovery: Securely store your recovery phrase in two different physical locations and consider a trusted-contact plan.
- Scale responsibly: Set alerts, split large holdings across devices or accounts, and enable multi-factor confirmations for large transfers.
Atlas is built for people who want control and clarity. If you ever feel uncertain, our live support and community forums are there to help — but the best protection is a careful setup up front.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you custody my crypto?
No. Atlas is a non-custodial service: you own the private keys that control your funds. We provide tools to manage and protect keys, but we do not hold or move funds on your behalf without cryptographic approval.
What if I lose my recovery phrase?
If you lose your recovery phrase and haven't set up a secondary recovery method, you may lose access to funds. Atlas offers optional redundancy (trusted contacts, cloud-encrypted escrow) to reduce this risk — but users who choose not to enable redundancy must safeguard their phrase carefully.
How are fees calculated?
Fees depend on the network (blockchain) and the route taken by any swap. Atlas displays an itemized fee preview before you confirm a transaction. For swaps, we show slippage and estimated final amounts so you can compare options.
Is Atlas compliant with regulations?
We operate within applicable regulations where we provide hosted on-ramp/off-ramp services. Non-custodial wallet functionality is generally available globally, but some fiat services may be restricted by region. Check the terms for your country during account setup.
Can I use Atlas for business treasury?
Yes. Atlas supports multi-user policies, role-based approvals, and hardware-backed custody suitable for small teams and treasuries. Contact our enterprise team for custom integrations and onboarding.
